Ali revealed her thoughts on winning last week's episode of KBS's 'Immortal Song 2'. On the episode that aired on October 1st, Ali performed her rendition of Jo�Yong Pil's "Kilimanjaro Panther" with a passionate tango rhythm, capturing the audience's attention. Putting forth her dramatic stage performance and her distinct explosive vocals, she was able to secure the top spot. The guest on the show, legendary composer Yang In Ja, praised, "It was a stage that made me feel as if I were going to stop breathing... no, I did stop breathing." On October 4th, her company released a statement from Ali stating, "Ever since I was young, I dreamed of performing on stage for an opera or a musical. The 'Kilimanjaro Pather' performance made me feel as a picture I had been sketching this whole time had been put up for display in an art gallery... I thought about making the narration in the song into a rap, but I decided to use Argentina's tango as an inspiration to convey the deep serious message of the song."
