Actress Go Ara has been cast in the leading female role for the upcoming movie, "Papa"! Directed by Han Ji Seung, Go Ara was cast for the role of 'Jun' alongside actor Park Yong Woo, who will be playing the role of 'Chunseob'. The film itself illustrates the story of a manager that chases after a junior manager all the way to the States for running away with his singer. The manager eventually becomes embroiled in a contract marriage and comes to raise six children. After discovering the exceptional vocal talent of his first daughter, 'Jun', he becomes determined to turn her into a star in the States. 'Jun' sacrifices her love for music and dance for her family, but is able to rekindle her passion once she meets her new father through her mother's contract marriage. After applying for an audition program, she passes and eventually moves on to becoming a star. Go Ara said, "'Jun' is a character that is perfect in singing, dancing, and English, so it is a bit pressuring to have to play her role. I will be preparing my best to give justice to my role." After completing the filming for her movie, "Pacemaker", in August, she will be heading over to the States to focus entirely on "Papa". Source + Photos: Hankyung via Naver
