The Korean hip hop scene was set ablaze recently because of rapper J-Tong's debut EP, "Busan". J-Tong is an underground rapper with Illest Konfusion, a crew established by Supreme Team's Simon D back in 2005.
A music video for one of the tracks was unveiled ahead of the EP's release, and was discovered to be a diss track against the well-established Soul Connection crew.
Although he's a rookie, J-Tong's known for his raw, 'four-dimensional' rapping style, so hip hop fans knew they were in for a treat as a diss battle unraveled between him and Soul Connection's Maslo, who quickly followed up with a counter diss track of his own.
The buzz died down with the return of Vasco and his latest album, but that didn't stop J-Tong's EP release on April 5th from becoming a hit.
"Busan", his title track, displays nothing but love for his hometown in the beastly charismatic style he's known for. His style's a bit of an acquired taste, but be sure to check it out below.
