After completing 22 months of army service, actor Lee Jin Wook was discharged on the morning of March 7th at the Yongsan-gu Defense Agency for Public Information Services. After being greeted by reporters and fans, he stated, "Thank you so much for waiting two years for me. I've missed you all." Before he departed, Lee shared hugs with his fellow celebrity soldiers,�Lee Dong Gun, Lee Jun Ki, Dynamic Duo, Kim Ji Suk and many more. "I couldn't sleep last night because the past two years kept floating by in my head.�Fortunately, I don't have any bad memories, so I'm glad to be able to be discharged with happy memories to cherish.�I think I'll miss all my juniors once I actually leave," he expressed. Lee avoided questions about his girlfriend of four years, Choi Ji Woo. When reporters asked about who he missed the most while he was in service, he skillfully replied,�"My parents, and then my fans, and then the citizens of this country." Lee also gave a message of support to fellow actor Hyun Bin, who is also enlisting today as well.�"All of us were upset that he had to enlist on such a cold day.�I hope he doesn't get hurt and remains healthy throughout his service." Regarding his future activities, he revealed, "I don't have anything planned yet, but I will consider projects while taking time off.�I'll try my best to find a good project to work on." Being the boyfriend of 'Ji Woo Hime', Japanese fans could also be seen amongst the Korean fans waiting for him. Fans presented the star with big banners, cakes, balloons, and new sneakers to celebrate his 'first step' as a normal citizen once more.
