Fans in Manila were immensely disappointed with singer/actor Rain yesterday, as he failed to appear for a press conference at the Manila Hotel. The conference was scheduled for 2pm, yet was cancelled at the last minute by Rain's staff due to a 'miscommunication' between their agency and the Filipino organizers, they said. "There was a misunderstanding; it was supposed to be September 9th… not September 6th. The interpreter got it wrong." Though the meet was rescheduled for the 9th, reactions to the absence have the Manila press calling it a 'snub'; several sources even claim to have seen Rain swimming in the hotel pool as his representatives were making the official announcement. Rain is in the Philippines for his one-show concert, Intensity, on the night of the 11th with special guest U-KISS and Pinoy ballad artist Christian Bautista.
