Earlier this month we reported that SNSD's Sooyoung would be joining KBS 2TV's "Sweet Night" as a full-time MC. However, according to the show's representatives, Sooyoung will be dropping her role as MC. The representative revealed:
"Sooyoung's schedule has gotten much more cluttered due to SNSD's latest album release. Because of this, it will be impossible for her to be a full-time MC. We had her in mind since the beginning, but we understand her situation and hope to work with her some time soon. Though we are disappointed with the outcome, we will leave Sooyoung's position empty until we can find someone to replace her. The show is currently undergoing several changes, but in time it will become presentable."The Sweet Night crew seems to be taking the news of Sooyoung's withdrawal from the show quite hard, but I'm sure they can recover from this. The show successfully draws in several viewers every time it airs and also has several top names making appearances on the show, so the cast should have nothing to worry about.
