We've reported on Kara's huge fan-following in Japan, and it looks like fans from the Land of the Rising Sun can't get enough of these five gals! Recently, DSP Entertainment announced that the Kara members would be holding their first Japanese showcase fanmeet in Akasaka, Tokyo in 2010, at venue to seat 1400. It's been less than a week since sales opened up, and more than 3000 people have already registered for the event; with the numbers still climbing even now, it goes without saying that the explosive reaction has come as a pleasant surprise. "The reaction in Japan is great; it has exceeded our expectations. We're astonished," a public relations representative stated. "Now, we are discussing our next step." It looks like we might be seeing Kara quite often at Tokyohive after all - the girls don't even have concrete plans about debuting in Japan, and they've already been featured on Arashi's Homework and even captured the heart of gagman Gegitan Hitori. "We're planning to release an album next January and focus on Korea first," a representative stated. "The activities in Japan will be discussed a bit more and will be decided later."
