Though their pan-American tour has ended, it seems like the Wonder Girls are climbing the social ladder at a high rate and are showing no signs of slowing down! Yes, the fivesome is busy back in New York with the upcoming album, but the girls still found time to attend the famed NYC Fashion Week. The hot quintet was also recently spotted at Fashion's Night Out, an open event located at Tory Burch Boutique, which ended just three hours ago. For those of you who haven't heard of Burch, she's a huge socialite known for her numerous high-profile connections and position in the elite circles of Manhattan. To say this woman is legit is an understatement - she launched her self-titled fashion line five years ago which was an immediate success, beat out Marc Jacobs & Michael Kors to be the accessories designer of the Council of Fashion Designers of America last year, and currently brags an impressive plethora of titles & awards for her work. Quite fitting for her Upper East Side socialite position, Burch will be featured in Gossip Girl this year starring, well, herself, and since I'm a GG fan... can I just say, big fat squeal? Anyway, enough with the gushing and on with the event. I'm absolutely loving Sohee's overall look... she's said to be the quintet's fashionista & that really showed tonight. Sunmi's top kind of reminds me of Chansung's Egyptian scarecrow concept from 2PM's Wild Bunny, except much cuter. True, touring & bonding with the Jonas Brothers, Jordin Sparks and other popular names has definitely boosted the Girls' popularity, but the quintet clearly isn't stopping there - they're anything but burnt out & are eager to keep getting bigger and better. Hope they exchanged some digits at the party, it'd be awesome to see the Wonder Girls at more of these events and mingling with the social elite. Glamour.Com even mentioned on the girls' presence on their Twitter; unfortunately, whoever wrote the tweet must've been slacking in the research area, because... well, you'll see: "Japanese pop sensation"? Way to get brownie points from fans, but hey, better than no publicity! I wonder where we'll see the girls next.
