On KBS 2TV "Sang Sang Plus-Season 2," MC Mong was a guest star, along with DJ DOC member Lee Ha Neul. On the show, the 30-year-old rapper revealed that in order to buy his ex-girlfriend a ring, he stole the air conditioner from his mother's coffee shop and sold it. "The air conditioner cost over a thousand dollars, but the man I sold it to only offered me $230," Mong said. "But, that wasn't enough to buy the ring, so I went back to the man's house and offered him other things--including my mother's pure gold class ring." It was later revealed that after his mother found out what happened to her class ring, she told MC Mong, whose album is going to drop on the 17th, to "get out of the house, you thief!" The episode aired on April 15, 2008, proving that MC Mong, not only looks like an uneducated hoodlum, but that he really is.
