Top star, BoA, signed a $100,000 contract with Hite Beer, to do a CF commercial with the company. While the CF took nearly six hours to complete, people on set noted that BoA didn't show much sign of fatigue and remained bubbly and happy. The singing pop princess began having interactive conversations with others, having "real talk" about problems she has encountered in her career. "I'm not the type of person who cannot drink," the 22-year-old stated. "When the stress from practicing my choreography begins to take toll, I relieve it by drinking." "The concept of our new advertisement is to show the audience the real, truthful side of stars when they're out interacting with others," a spokesperson for Hite stated. "And with much effort, we were able to get our first CF model to be global sensation, BoA." This is the singer's first debut to do any sort of alcohol advertisement.
