Hanlim Multi Arts School is well-known for being a prestigious high school home to many idols. This year, several new K-Pop stars joined the school at the entrance ceremony on March 4. Check to see which of your favorite idols were in attendance!
ITZY’s Yuna (with Ryujin and Chaeryeong)
ITZY’s maknae Yuna will join her fellow members and third-year students, Ryujin and Chaeryeong, this year.
“I have mixed feelings with excitement and happiness as I start both my career and my high school life at the same time. I will work hard as ITZY’s youngest member.”
Heo Yun Jin
Heo Yun Jin, the Pledis Entertainment trainee from ‘Produce 48,’ will continue her academic life at Hanlim Multi Arts School. She previously attended high school in the United States.
“I am very nervous as this is my first time attending school in Korea, but I am also very excited. I want to make friends and learn a lot.
Samuel
Because he took a gap year before entering high school, Samuel is a year older than the other first-year students.
“As I am entering high school, it feels like something is different, but I am not exactly sure what. I want to have a good time for three years in high school, and I want to make memories with fun friends.”
1THE9’s Park Sungwon (with Jung Jinsung and Jeon Doyum)
Park Sungwon, a member of the winning group from ‘Under 19,’ is entering Hanlim Multi Arts School this year, joining his second-year members, Jung Jinsung and Yeon Doyum.
“I wanted to attend Hanlim Arts School, so I am very glad that I got to come. I am very happy thinking about making new friends.”
NewKidd’s Hwi (with Ji Hansol and Jin Kwon)
NewKidd’s Hwi was given warm support by Ji Hansol and Jin Kwon, graduates of Hanlim Multi Arts School, at the entrance ceremony.
“I am very happy and thankful to my members and my family who cheered me on. I want to achieve my goals before I graduate from Hanlim Arts School.”
VERIVERY’s Kangmin
This year, VERIVERY’s youngest member, Kangmin, will be entering Hanlim Multi Arts School.
“Thank you for showing lots of interest as I enter [high school]. I will prepare and work hard on learning for three years to impress more.”
Yoo Seon Ho
Although not a new student at the school, 'Produce 101 Season 2' contestant Yoo Seon Ho joined the entrance ceremony as an MC and special performer.
