EXO member and solo artist Baekhyun has released the music video for his new song Do What You Do, a collaboration with American singer-songwriter UMI.
This marks Baekhyun’s first collaborative single in four years. Do What You Do is an emotional R&B duet that captures the lingering, conflicting emotions of a painful breakup.
Adding authenticity to the track, UMI personally participated in writing the lyrics. The song was produced by K-pop hitmaker EL CAPITXN (Jang Yi Jung), who has worked with major artists such as BTS and IU. His involvement enhances the song’s overall quality, positioning it as a standout track in the global music market.
EL CAPITXN plans to use this release as a stepping stone for more projects that bridge K-pop with the global music industry. By introducing K-pop’s distinctive sound to the world and fostering collaborations with international artists, he aims to create new musical synergies.
Baekhyun, who achieved triple million-seller status with his fourth mini-album Hello, World last year, also set a new personal record for first-week sales. With the release of Do What You Do, he is set to continue his active schedule this year, further cementing his status as a global artist.
