On the March 9th episode of MBC's 'Show! Music Core,' virtual boy group PLAVE took the win with "WAY 4 LUV". 

PLAVE debuted back on March 12th, 2023. Similar to VTubers, a real person is using a motion capture suit to track the movements of each member in real time. Looking at the final scores after snagging their first win at a music show, netizens shared their thoughts.  

Some of the comments include: "The real-time voting score is crazy."

"Congratulations! After getting all that hate."

"There used to be a cyber singer way back in the day. What's wrong with having a virtual idol these days? And there are real people behind the members. They aren't AI. I bet those who are saying this is ridiculous are the fans of those who can't sing or dance, neglecting their job. Start voting for your group if you're jealous and stop saying nonsense like they should get rid of the voting criteria."

"I still find it funny that the virtual idol won lol Did they say their acceptance speech?"

"I wonder how they did the performance. Was it live?"

"How would they do the encore stage? I'm genuinely curious."
