Joel, who recently made headlines as the only Korean participant in Netflix's "Squid Game The Challenge," has released his first solo track "FALLING" a decade after his debut with the boy group BTL.

The single, unveiled on February 21, marks Joel's debut solo endeavor, encapsulating a message of positivity and certainty. The song illustrates how the accumulation of life's minor experiences over time fosters the courage to face today and shapes a clearer meaning for tomorrow. With a minimal vintage keyboard sound and Joel's unembellished voice, the track conveys the story and resonance he aimed to share.

As Joel's inaugural solo release in ten years, he took an active role in writing and composing "FALLING" to infuse it with his unique musical identity. His close friend and fellow musician DAVII contributed to the song's composition and arrangement, enhancing its quality.

Joel's appearance as the sole Korean contestant on the survival reality show "Squid Game The Challenge," produced in the UK and released on Netflix last November, had previously sparked significant interest.
