What happens when a K-Pop idol group becomes the owners of a grocery store?
TVING's new youth comedy series 'CEO-dol Mart' answers the question with its fictional boy group, the Sun Boyz, who disband after an unfortunate incident. With nowhere to go and no immediate plans to support themselves, the members of Sun Boyz take over a grocery store that is on the verge of closing down.
In fact, according to the drama's latest teaser above, the Sun Boyz were given "ownership" of the grocery store as substitute payment for their idol activities for 5-years. But it turns out, the grocery store itself is also deeply in debt, and the members struggle to decide if they should sell the store, or try their hands at reviving it!
Starring EXO's Xiumin, Lee Shin Young, MONSTA X's Hyungwon, Choi Won Myung, and Lee Se On, 'CEO-dol Mart' premieres next week on September 15 at 4 PM KST on TVING!
I like the premise and Lee Shin Young should be just right for this kind of series. I haven’t seen anyone from Monsta X acting before, but Hyungwon seems like a funny guy, so I hope he can carry a comedy role. Will definitely check it out.
