bugAboo has officially made their debut!
On October 25 KST, the six-member rookie girl group released their first single album 'bugAboo,' featuring a title track of the same name. Both the song and the music video contain a similar theme – the bugAboo members leaving for a new world full of adventure. The members also charm with their tight choreography, performing on a set with a row of Ferrari sportscars.
Meanwhile, bugAboo is the first girl group created by hit K-Pop producer Ryan Jhun.

I actually really liked this! I liked the song, the girls all looked stunning, & I liked the choreo. The only thing is I wish the MV director didn't follow the standard kpop music video formula. I couldn't help but laugh when in the first 15 seconds you saw all the classic kpop mv cliches: group running shots, bad ass concept shown through either baseball bats or fake weapons (this case it looked like water guns), same set locations (that same subway set has been used in manyyyy MVs), & school uniforms. Don't get me wrong, the MV looks good but it's a shame the director couldn't come up with something more unique for them, especially since this is their debut. Having a MV director who does the same stuff can make the girls seem forgettable or like they are "copying" others which is not true & just leads to fighting & insults by other fandoms & their fans when it's literally not the girls' fault.
