On March 17, iKON member and solo artist BOBBY rocked the Philippine stage at the SM Skydome, as part of his 2024 'Zero Gravity' Asia tour.
BOBBY lit the stage on fire with his fiery rap and performance of "f" and "DeViL." In total, he performed 25 songs, including "NO TIME," "harmless," "hercules," "RUNAWAY," "LEAN ON ME," "HOLUP!," "ALIEN," "sae," "why stop now," and "U MAD," among others.
"I'm so grateful that you guys wanted us to come. It's really good to see you," he said. "The energy is crazy. I've traveled the whole world but I've never seen like this. Crazy!"
Last month, BOBBY dropped his 3rd full-length album, 'Sir.Robert.' "I think my album is an absolute masterpiece. I like it. The music video is crazy. A lot of artists helped me out," he said. "If you haven't checked it out, please check it out already!"
"I gotta say sorry to you guys. Last year, I was supposed to come to Manila but something came up. I feel so happy right now that I came. I finally made it to Manila. Thank you so much for your support and love!"
Finally, BOBBY concluded the show with his performances of the tracks "FIREWORK," "SWIM," and "HeartBROKEN PlaYBoY."
Throughout the two hours of the show, BOBBY managed to maintain the level of energy he brought from the first song to the very last. Along with the artist having a great time on stage, his fans were jumping, banging their heads, and waving their lightsticks in sync, as if it were a party. In fact, it really felt like a party. BOBBY's live singing and rapping prowess, coupled with iKONICs' explosive energy, create a concert experience that leaves you wanting more.
I was at the back observing, and I could really see how enjoyable the show was. The fans weren't just watching and taking videos using their phones the whole time—they were jumping, singing along, and absolutely living it up in their own spaces. It's not just a concert, it's a full-blown party. It's clear that the high energy is already in the blood of not only the iKON members themselves, but also their fans, iKONICs. Really, iKON's concerts are always one-of-a-kind.
This marks BOBBY's 3rd performance in the country since the pandemic, following iKON's 'K-Pop Masterz' joint concert in 2022 and the group's 'TAKE OFF' 2023 show. After his Manila show, the artist is heading next to Thailand and South Korea later this month. On April 7, iKON is coming back to the country for their 'Limited Tour - Get Back' at the Araneta Coliseum.
