BTS’s J-Hope successfully concluded his North American solo tour ‘j-hope Tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’ in LOS ANGELES’ on April 7 (KST), held at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. Spanning six cities—Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City, San Antonio, Oakland, and Los Angeles—with 12 shows in total, the tour drew approximately 178,000 fans, showcasing J-Hope’s immense global presence.
J-Hope made history as the first K-pop solo artist to headline BMO Stadium, and anticipation for the Los Angeles finale was high. The event reached a peak when Miguel, who featured on the new track “Sweet Dreams,” made a surprise appearance on stage.
The setlist reflected J-Hope’s identity and musical journey, including songs like “What if...,” “Pandora’s Box,” “Arson,” “Trivia 起: Just Dance,” and “Hope World.” Crowd favorites like “MIC Drop,” “Baepsae,” and “Chicken Noodle Soup” (feat. Becky G) delivered explosive energy, while “on the street” (solo version) and “NEURON” (with Gaeko, Yoon Mirae) offered emotional resonance.
Performing with precision and charisma, J-Hope balanced intense choreography with unwavering live vocals. New tracks “Sweet Dreams” and “MONA LISA” received enthusiastic responses, the former exuding sweetness while the latter captivated with sensual, high-impact dancing.
In a heartfelt speech, J-Hope reflected on the tour’s significance:
“Today marks the final chapter of the North American tour. At first, I had doubts and fears. But through challenges and experiences, I’ve come to understand myself and the world. That truth becomes music, and that music reaches you. Thank you, ARMY, for being part of that journey. This solo stadium concert is history to me—it’s all made possible because of you. Just like the tour name, I’m happiest when I’m on stage.”
Next, J-Hope will launch his Asia tour, starting in Manila on April 12–13, with upcoming stops in Saitama, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Macau, Taipei, and Osaka.
