Jennie of BLACKPINK has set a new milestone in her career, heating up the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival with her first-ever solo headliner performance.
On April 14, Jennie took the stage at Coachella’s Outdoor Theatre, performing an uninterrupted 57-minute set filled with powerful energy, bold fashion, and raw emotion — proving her strength as a solo artist on one of the world’s biggest stages.

The set featured 13 tracks from her first full-length solo album Ruby, including fan favorites like Filter, Mantra, Zen, and Starlight. She opened the show with Filter, stunning the crowd in a Western-style hat, sunglasses, and a bold red outfit, exuding confidence and star power from the very first note.
Although Filter isn’t the album’s title track, Jennie chose it as her opener, showing her flair for the unexpected. Her sultry performance and groove-heavy sound immediately captivated the audience, who erupted in cheers at the sound of her name.
From the explosive choreography of Mantra to the emotionally charged Handle Bars and Start a War, Jennie skillfully shifted between intensity and vulnerability. During Zen, she appeared beneath a symbolic owl before launching into a powerful dance routine that left fans mesmerized.
Though some noted minor vocal limitations due to heavy choreography, Jennie’s commanding stage presence never wavered.

One of the highlights was a surprise appearance by Kali Uchis during Damn Right. The chemistry between the two artists added a new layer of excitement to the already electric show, with Jennie expressing her love and gratitude on stage.
She continued the dreamy atmosphere with Love Hangover and Seoul City, which included seductive partner dances with male dancers. Then, Extra L brought the heat back up with aggressive girl-crush energy and fiery rap verses.
The climax of the night came with Like JENNIE, which transformed the stage into a runway, with Jennie and her dancers owning the spotlight. Over 7,000 fans sang along, creating a chorus that echoed across the desert.
Unlike many pop acts, Jennie kept VCR intermissions to a minimum and made few outfit changes, choosing instead to let her vocals, dancing, and artistry speak for themselves.

Before her final song, Jennie became visibly emotional, telling the crowd:
“This has been a magical night. Thank you for coming to my stage. I love you, Coachella.”
She closed with her self-written track Starlight, making eye contact with the crowd and running across the stage to connect with as many fans as possible before exiting.
As the lights dimmed, chants of “JENNIE!” continued to echo — a clear sign that the audience wasn’t ready to let the moment go.
Jennie is scheduled to return for another Coachella performance on April 20 (local time).
