
As of March 18, actress Park Min Young's next project has begun to take shape. The upcoming drama is titled 'Siren' (working title).
On the 18th, an entertainment industry insider told JTBC Entertainment News, "Park Min Young is expected to take on the lead role in the new drama Siren (working title)." In response, Park Min Young's agency stated, "It is one of the projects she has been offered, and she is currently reviewing it."
'Siren' (working title) takes its name from Greek mythology. The drama is based on the Japanese series Ice World, which originally aired on Fuji TV. It follows the story of an insurance investigator at Ross Insurance Company who becomes entangled in a mysterious case surrounding the death of a female teacher. The storyline is expected to be adapted to better suit Korean cultural sensibilities.
Currently, Park Min Young is in the final stages of filming her upcoming drama 'The Confidence Man KR.' Additionally, she recently parted ways with Hook Entertainment after her exclusive contract of three years expired.
The broadcast schedule for 'Siren' (working title) has yet to be determined, as discussions are still ongoing.
