The emotional mystery film 'LOST,' starring Lee Soo Hyuk and Ha Yoon Kyung, is set to hit theaters this April. The film has confirmed its release and has heightened expectations by unveiling a striking first poster that hints at an intriguing story and a fresh genre blend.

'LOST' tells the story of two individuals whose lives are haunted by their families' past crimes — the son of a perpetrator and the daughter of a victim. Having lived under the weight of their families’ sins, they embark on an unexpected journey together, rediscovering a genuine desire to live.

Lee Soo Hyuk, known for his outstanding performances in dramas such as 'Queen Woo' and 'Tomorrow,' as well as the film 'Pipeline,' plays Tae Hwa, a clay shooting athlete who suffers after receiving a lung transplant from his criminal father. Lee is set to showcase a wide range of emotions as he navigates the complex psychological burden of his character.

Ha Yoon Kyung, acclaimed for her roles in the film 'Concerning My Daughter' and the drama 'Gangnam B-Side,' plays Mi Ji — a woman who has lived as a victim while hiding deep emotional scars caused by her involvement in criminal activities. Ha's nuanced portrayal is expected to highlight her impressive acting range.

'LOST' marks the first Korean film to explore the moral conflict surrounding hereditary guilt through the lens of clay shooting. The film poses a profound psychological question: "What if you received an organ transplant from a criminal?" This morally complex theme is intricately woven into the film’s emotionally charged and suspenseful narrative.

The film was invited to the Korean Cinema section of the '24th Jeonju International Film Festival,' where it received critical acclaim for its unique portrayal of guilt and suffering among those connected to criminals. Its intense psychological depth and stylish direction attracted the largest audience turnout at the festival.

Director Kang Dong In, who also wrote the screenplay, helms the project. Kang previously won the Special Jury Prize at the '21st Beijing Film Academy Film Festival' and the 'Gold Award at the 20th Korea Youth Film Festival' for his short film 'Good Time.'

The title 'LOST' carries dual meanings. It signifies the "waves" of life-altering events that shake the protagonists’ lives and the concept of "breaking the egg", symbolizing a new beginning born from adversity.

With its fresh thematic exploration and genre-bending approach, 'LOST' is set to captivate moviegoers when it premieres in April.
