On March 9th KST, Jung Jae Hyung’s YouTube channel "Yojung Jae Hyung" uploaded a new video titled “A Story About Jennie That’s Never Been Told Before.” The video featured Jennie visiting Jung Jae Hyung’s home and presenting him with a special gift.
During their conversation, Jennie handed him a glass, saying, “It’s nothing much, but I brought you a gift.” In response to Jung Jae Hyung asking about her health, she apologized, saying, “I’m sorry. I was actually going to reach out.” However, he reassured her, “There’s nothing to apologize for.”
Jennie then shared, “I just arrived today. Since it’s my first time releasing a solo album under my own label, everything has been hectic.” Hearing this, Jung Jae Hyung was surprised and asked, “You arrived today after being so unwell?”Jennie explained, “Yes. And since my schedule kept getting packed, everything got tangled up and pushed back. But I’ve been pushing forward.”
As Jung Jae Hyung took out a bottle of whiskey, Jennie suggested, “I’d love for you to enjoy it with the glass I brought today.” She further explained, “I didn’t want to come empty-handed, so I thought about what to bring. Since I wanted you to remember me, I chose Ruby.”
Upon receiving the gift, Jung Jae Hyung was amazed, saying, “I’ve been looking for a red glass like this because I thought it was so beautiful. It’s truly stunning.” Jennie replied, “I thought it would pair perfectly with whiskey.”
The designer glass set that Jennie gifted is valued at approximately 1 million KRW(~690 USD) per set. Coincidentally, Jung Jae Hyung already owned glassware from the same luxury brand.
Meanwhile, Jennie released her first full-length solo album, ‘Ruby,’ on March 7th at midnight.
