In GQ Korea's new video, aespa's Karina appeared for its 'My Essential' episode, revealing the things inside her bag.
Among the essentials Karina pulled from her bag—sneakers, a pencil case, a charger, a stress ball, and a notebook—was her diary. "To kick off the new year, I started journaling. It hasn't been long since I started, but I'm writing consistently," she said.
She added, "It's supposed to be used for three years. I like that I can write the date myself, so I don't feel pressured with this diary." When a staff member asked her if she has any journaling habit, Karina replied, "I don't write long lines, instead, before bed, whatever emotion I felt strongest that day, I tend to summarize and write it."
For that day's entry, Karina detailed her photoshoot in the sleek outfit she was wearing. "Since I have a fierce image, I don't really get to do pure things like this. It was a time for me to get to know myself a bit better."
Karina also brings with her two digital cameras to document her life. For the first one, she said that it's the camera she uses with the dated photos people see on her personal Instagram account. "The pictures really come out well so I like it."
