As of February 14, 2025, the former NewJeans, now known as NJZ, has reportedly moved to Beasts And Natives Alike (BANA) for their management and support, according to multiple industry sources. The group, which was previously under ADOR, is said to have made contact with BANA to take on their activities under the new name NJZ.
Sources revealed to TenAsia that NJZ has recently entrusted BANA with managing their entertainment operations. A well-informed music critic mentioned that BANA is now handling international media requests for the group and acting as their agency.
Further industry insiders shared that NJZ and BANA are collaborating closely to address current issues, with one source from a major entertainment agency confirming that BANA is assisting with NJZ's ongoing activities.
Notably, two producers from BANA, 250 (Lee OhGong) and FRNK, had previously worked with NewJeans on several of their hit tracks, including 'Attention' and 'Hype Boy.' BANA is known for both producing music and managing entertainment talent, with artists such as f(x)'s Krystal and rapper Beenzino under their roster.
On February 7, NJZ’s Hyein hinted during an Instagram live session that the group would soon have an official agent, which aligns with reports of their partnership with BANA.
TenAsia reached out to BANA for comment but has yet to receive a response.
