Korean fans and viewers are still buzzing about the latest episode of G-Dragon's new variety show 'Good Day.'
The February 16th episode of 'Good Day' featured comic artist Kian84, bringing a fresh meet-up between two celebrities. Upon their first meeting, G-Dragon and Kian84 showed off a chemistry that viewers seem to be addicted to in just one episode.
G-Dragon was starstruck as he commented, "It feels like I'm seeing a celebrity" when Kian84 first entered the cafe. Every time Kian84 remarked, G-Dragon burst out into a peal of laughter, ecstatic about this meeting. G-Dragon shared, "If I may be honest, you don’t feel unfamiliar. You kind of remind me of someone… like a certain man’s scent," referencing comedian Jung Hyung Don.
G-Dragon continued to express his affection for Jung Hyung Don and his affinity toward Kian84, saying, "There’s a guy I have a one-sided crush on… there’s just something about his presence. But trust me, you’re better off not knowing who it is." Kian84, confused, asks, "Wait, do you like someone? What are you even talking about?"
Kian84 was equally as starstruck and nervous as he commented during G-Dragon's brief absence, "He's here. He sure makes people eagerly long for him. Maybe because he's a superstar. Superstars must be different." Code Kunst who also joined the two encouraged Kian84 to praise G-Dragon when he gets here. Kian84 let out a nervous chuckle and responded, "I can't say things like when he's here."
Kian84 had been known to be a fan of G-Dragon, even drawing inspiration from the idol to create characters from his popular Webtoon 'Fashion King.' Kian84 continued to tell Code Kunst, "This is the first time I'm feeling this nervous after meeting a guy."
Although the episode aired two days ago, it continues to get views and has been sparking various online discussions.
In particular, Korean netizens find the awkward chemistry between G-Dragon and Kian84 hilarious. Some are saying Kian84 seemed rude to G-Dragon. Nevertheless, many fans pointed out that Kian84 was just simply nervous and couldn't function properly in front of his favorite idol.
