TWS marks 1st debut anniversary with reflections and goals for 2025.
Rising rookie group TWS celebrated their 1st debut anniversary on January 22nd, reflecting on their achievements over the past year and sharing aspirations for 2025.
TWS quickly captured hearts with their signature “boyhood pop,” characterized by youthful lyrics, refreshing melodies, and energetic performances. The group’s six members—Shin Yoo, Dohun, Youngjae, Han Jin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin—have been praised for their youthful visuals, clear vocals, and dynamic stage presence, which bring their glittering tunes to life.
Reflecting on their debut year, the members shared heartfelt sentiments:
“This past year has been full of incredible experiences with our fans, 42, and each other. It makes us even more excited for what lies ahead.”
“At first, everything was new and nerve-wracking, but thanks to our members and 42, we’ve gained so much confidence and stability. We’re eager to grow and create even more memories together.”
TWS achieved phenomenal success in 2024, earning the top spot on Melon’s annual chart with their hit debut single “First Meeting Never Goes as Planned,” and sweeping seven rookie awards, with a total of 13 wins at major ceremonies. Living up to the title of “junior group to Seventeen,” TWS has firmly established themselves as “Rookie of the Year.”
Looking forward to 2025, TWS aims to surpass their previous milestones:
“Our goal is to outdo TWS of 2024, showcasing growth and reaching more listeners around the world. We also hope to connect with more 42 fans in person.”
“We want to hold our first concert. Sharing the stage with 42 would be such a thrilling and meaningful moment. We also aspire to write and produce our own songs someday.”
