Former Laboum member Yulhee is set to debut as an actress.
On January 21st KST, Yulhee shared a post on her social media story that read “cheering on ‘My Partner is a Devil’ ” along with a photo of the drama’s script cover, confirming her participation in the upcoming short-form drama as the lead actress.
Currently active as a YouTuber, Yulhee will be taking on a new challenge as the female lead in ‘My Partner is a Devil,’ marking her debut in the acting field.
Yulhee married FT Island’s Choi Minhwan in 2018 and became a mother of three. However, the couple ended their marriage in December 2023 after five years. Following the divorce, Choi Minhwan initially retained custody of their children, but Yulhee later released recordings alleging Minhwan’s involvement with nightlife establishments. In November 2023, Yulhee filed lawsuits for child custody, alimony, and property division, reportedly demanding 1 billion KRW in alimony and 10 billion KRW in property division, revising their original divorce settlement.
In response, Choi Minhwan stated in an interview that the divorce was not due to his alleged visits to such establishments but rather due to Yulhee’s frequent absences from home and sleep habits during their marriage, asserting that he was not the party at fault. Yulhee has not responded publicly to these claims and continues to interact with her fans via social media.
