Kep1er member Xiaoting is exploring her next career move after her exclusive contract with the Chinese agency TOPCLASS expires
According to an exclusive report by OSEN on January 7, Xiaoting has returned to South Korea and is currently in discussions with WakeOne and KLAP Entertainment, the management agencies behind Kep1er.
Should these negotiations prove fruitful, Xiaoting will continue her activities, including those outside of Kep1er, under the guidance of these agencies.
The 25-year-old idol rose to stardom through Mnet’s survival show 'Girls Planet 999' and debuted as a member of Kep1er, a temporary project group formed with a planned 2.5-year tenure. In a historic move, Kep1er renewed their contracts in November 2024, becoming the first project group to do so.
Recently, Xiaoting had taken a step back from Kep1er’s group schedules, focusing instead on individual activities in China. Her absence from a significant fan sign event in December sparked differing statements from her Chinese and Korean agencies, adding to the intrigue surrounding her future plans.
Her contract with TOPCLASS officially ended on January 1, leaving fans eager to learn about her next steps. With news of her return to South Korea and active discussions with WakeOne and KLAP Entertainment, anticipation is growing over whether Xiaoting will resume group activities or expand her solo career.
Fans worldwide are closely following this development, hoping for updates on Xiaoting’s plans as she navigates the next chapter of her career.
