Actors Gong Min-jeong and Jang Jae-ho have welcomed a new addition to their family.

On the 7th, their agency, Fantagio, released an official statement:

“Actress Gong Min-jeong gave birth to a daughter on the 2nd. Both mother and baby are healthy and are resting under the care of their family.”

Gong Min-jeong shared her emotions, saying, “I am deeply moved by the arrival of such a precious little life. Becoming a mother has made me respect all the mothers in the world.” She also expressed her gratitude, saying, “I sincerely thank everyone who supported and congratulated me.”

Gong Min-jeong married fellow actor Jang Jae-ho in September last year and announced her pregnancy three months later, in December. The two actors initially portrayed a married couple in the tvN drama Marry My Husband before becoming a real-life couple.

Both the mother and the baby are healthy and are currently resting with their family’s support. Gong Min-jeong shared her thoughts, saying:
