ENA music survival show ‘Undercover’ is about finding the best cover artist by reinterpreting original songs in a new and unique way.
In the second episode, airing on January 19, former girl group members Seoryoung and Kim Ye Chan share their emotional stories and perform touching covers.
Seoryoung, a former member of GWSN, performs under the thumbnail 'A tragic girl group labeled as criminals'. She reveals, “I debuted in 2018, but due to the company’s struggles, we were left neglected.” For her first solo stage, she sings Kwon Jin Ah’s ‘I got lucky’.
Her heartfelt performance left judge Kwon Eun Bi emotional and speechless. Seoryoung’s tears during the feedback have viewers curious about her results.
Kim Ye Chan, who debuted with Awesome Baby in 2015 and later with Pink Fantasy in 2018, performs under the thumbnail 'Debuted in two girl groups, but earned zero income.' She is currently working part-time at a barbecue restaurant to make a living.
Kim Ye Chan delivered a powerful performance of Park Hye Won's 'The Lonely Bloom Stands Aloner', putting her heartbreaking story behind her. Her stage moved not only Kwon Eun Bi but also other cover artists to tears, heightening anticipation for her performance.
