From iconic veterans to fourth-generation idols, these solo debuts have captured the attention of fans worldwide.

Here’s a rundown of the members from popular boy groups who went solo in 2024.

CHANYEOL [EXO]

After 12 years of debuting with EXO, Chanyeol, the charismatic rapper of the iconic boy group, has finally made his much-anticipated solo debut this year. On August 28, 2024, he released his debut mini album, "Black Out," which marked a new chapter in his career.

LEE SEUNG HOON [WINNER]

Lee Seung Hoon, popularly known as Hoony, is the last member of WINNER to debut as a solo artist. On July 15, 2024, he dropped his first EP, "My Type." The album resonated with fans who had long awaited his solo endeavors.

CHA EUN-WOO & SAN-HA [ASTRO]

Two members of ASTRO made their solo debuts this year, each with a distinct sound and style. Cha Eun-woo, the popular group member, dropped his debut mini album, "Entity," on February 15, 2024, and Sanha debuted as a soloist on August 6 with the album “Dusk.”

TEN, DOYOUNG, YUTA JAEHYUN [NCT]

This year, NCT saw an impressive lineup of solo debuts from four of its members, each bringing their unique charm and musical style to the forefront. Ten was the first to debut solo in 2024, releasing his self-titled mini album on February 13. 

Doyoung followed with his first full-length solo album, "Youth," on April 22.

Jaehyun released his solo debut studio album “J” on August 26.

Yuta made his Japanese solo debut on October 3 with the mini album “Depth."

HUI, WOOSEOK & JINHO [Pentagon]

Pentagon made waves this year with three of its members going solo. First Hui released his solo debut mini album, “Whu Is Me: Complex,” on January 16. 

Wooseok followed on February 24 with his digital single "Empty Paper.” 

Lastly, on September 19, Jinho released solo mini album “Cho:rd."

DK, SONG, JU-NE [iKON]

Under their new agency, 143 Entertainment, three talented members of iKON made their solo debut in 2024. On February 15, DK released his solo debut studio album, “Nakseo[戀].” 

Song followed on March 6 with the mini album "It’s Call.” 

Finally, Ju-ne made his solo debut on July 3 with the mini album “Bruise."

LUCAS [Former NCT]

After a long hiatus, former NCT member Lucas made his highly anticipated return as a solo artist in 2024. Despite leaving NCT, he remains under SM Entertainment and made his solo debut on April 1 with the single album, “Renegade.”

SUNGJIN [DAY6]

2024 has been a landmark year for DAY6, as the group continues to soar in popularity, achieving the coveted Perfect-All-Kill and earning widespread acclaim and awards. To top it off, member Sungjin delighted fans by making his solo debut on November 5 with the studio album "30."

YEONJUN [TXT]

One of the most popular members of the fourth-generation boy group under BigHit Music, Tomorrow X Together (TXT), Yeonjun made his solo debut on September 19, 2024, with his mixtape "Yeonjun’s Mixtape: Ggum."

LEE DONG YEOL [UP10TION]

Lee Dong Yeol, formerly known as Xiao, is a member of the boy group UP10TION who also gained widespread attention as a contestant on Boys Planet. He made his solo debut on May 8, 2024, with the mini album “Howling.”
