According to WM Entertainment on November 13th KST, Hyojung will meet listeners through her first broadcast of 'Oh My Girl Hyojung’s Raise the Volume' on November 25th KST.
Hyojung shared her excitement through her agency, saying, “It’s unbelievable and amazing to have my own show as a DJ. I’ve always loved the power of storytelling on the radio. I want to be an ‘8 o’clock mate’ who gives listeners comfort to unwind from a busy day and prepare for tomorrow.”
Raise the Volume is a flagship program of KBS Radio, which began in 1995 and has seen star DJs like Lee Bon, MayBee, Choi Kang Hee, Yoo In Na, and Kang Han Na. Following Kim Chung Ha, Hyojung will bring her musical expertise and entertaining charm to connect with listeners.
Producer Oh Guina expressed excitement about the new host, saying, “Hyojung’s bright energy and appeal across generations will be a refreshing boost to Cool FM.”
Debuting as the leader and lead vocalist of Oh My Girl in 2015 with their first mini-album OH MY GIRL, Hyojung has since helped the group rise to prominence in Korea with hits like Secret Garden, The Fifth Season, Nonstop, and Dun Dun Dance.
