The band Dickpunks (Kim Tae Hyun, Kim Jae Heung, Kim Hyun Woo, Park Ga Ram) has unveiled their new single, ‘First Love, This Song,’ on November 25th at 6 PM through various online music platforms, marking the beginning of an active new chapter in their career.

This release is their first new music in nearly 2 years and 7 months since their special album ‘SUːM TIMES’ in April 2022.

‘First Love, This Song’ is a romantic pop track that evokes memories of happy moments, almost like watching a short film. The song draws on the universal emotions of first love, channeling the excitement from the band’s early days of making music, resonating with listeners on a deeply nostalgic level.

The track combines stride-style piano with tightly arranged drums and bass, creating a warm winter atmosphere. Adding to this, Kim Tae Hyun's sweet vocals complete Dickpunks’ signature iconic sound.

After breaking their lengthy hiatus, Dickpunks is now actively working on an album slated for release early next year. Alongside their album preparations, the band plans to connect with fans through diverse content, performances, and festivals in the coming months.

Dickpunks first rose to fame as the runners-up on Mnet’s 'Superstar K4' in 2012 and later captured the hearts of fans with hits like ‘Viva Primavera,’ ‘Hello Goodbye,’ and ‘Walk with Me.’ Their long-awaited comeback promises a richer and more mature sound, heightening anticipation for their new release.
