TWICE has made history as the first K-pop artist to perform on 'Amazon Music Live,' appearing on the show broadcast on November 21st (local time).
'Amazon Music Live' is an online streaming concert series aired live after Thursday night games of the National Football League (NFL), one of the largest professional sports leagues in the U.S. The show has previously featured top international artists such as Ed Sheeran, A$AP Rocky, Lil Wayne, Megan Thee Stallion, and Metro Boomin.
Now in its third season, this year’s lineup included artists like Jelly Roll, Big Sean, Halsey, J Balvin, and Gunna, with TWICE headlining their own exclusive performance. TWICE opened their set with ‘I CAN’T STOP ME,’ followed by songs like ‘GO HARD,’ ‘MOONLIGHT SUNRISE,’ ‘CRY FOR ME,’ ‘FANCY,’ ‘The Feels,’ and ‘MOONLIGHT.’ The group continued their energetic showcase with hits such as ‘I GOT YOU,’ ‘ONE SPARK,’ and ‘Talk that Talk,’ delivering a vibrant parade of their signature music.
Additionally, the group teased their upcoming track ‘Strategy (feat. Megan Thee Stallion)’ with a brief performance, building anticipation for its release.
Earlier this year, TWICE reached the top of the Billboard 200 with their 13th mini-album ‘With YOU-th’ and embarked on their fifth world tour, ‘TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR 'READY TO BE.'’ The tour included 51 concerts across 27 regions, filling massive venues such as SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, MetLife Stadium in New York, and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, drawing an impressive total of 1.5 million attendees.
Riding this momentum, TWICE is set to release their new mini-album ‘STRATEGY’ and its title track ‘Strategy (feat. Megan Thee Stallion)’ on December 6th at 2 PM KST (midnight EST). The title track features Megan Thee Stallion, a Grammy-winning rapper celebrated at the American Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards, adding another exciting chapter to the group's career as they close out 2024.
