Ah In (age 27), a subscription-based platform influencer who previously made headlines for encouraging passersby to touch her breasts while wearing only a cardboard box in areas like Apgujeong-dong in Seoul, has been indicted for purchasing the drug ketamine.
According to legal sources on October 23, the Seoul Central District Court’s Criminal Division 24 held the second trial for Ah In on September 24. She was charged with violating the Narcotics Control Act for her involvement in purchasing a psychotropic drug.
In June, Ah In was indicted without detention for allegedly purchasing ketamine several times through Telegram in April.
Prosecutors revealed that in early April, Ah In agreed to split the cost of the drugs with an accomplice, identified as 'A.' She sent 350,000 KRW (approximately 254 USD) worth of Bitcoin to a drug dealer she met through Telegram. The dealer used a "dropping" method, hiding the drugs in air conditioner units in residential areas in Gangnam, Seocho, and Songpa. Ah In retrieved approximately 1 gram of ketamine during her first transaction and received a total of 5 grams across five transactions by mid-April. Ah In’s third trial is scheduled for 10:30 AM on November 12.
Ah In is also facing separate charges for public indecency. In October of last year, she allegedly encouraged men in Gangnam's Apgujeong and Hongdae in Mapo District to touch her breasts while she was nearly naked, covered only by a cardboard box.
