F.T. Island member Jaejin shared his thoughts on the band's recent concert but made no mention of Choi Min Hwan, who is facing strong backlash after his ex-wife Yulhee revealed he visited "adult entertainment" establishments.
On the 26th, Lee Jae Jin posted multiple photos on his account along with the message "#pulse #in #kaohsiung #ThankYouSoMuch." The photos showed scenes from the "2024 FT Island Live Pulse in Asia" tour in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
On stage, Lee Hong Ki and Lee Jae Jin posed for the cameras together. Due to recent allegations related to solicitation, Choi Min Hwan played drums from behind the stage and did not appear before the fans. Neither the photos nor the message included any mention of him.
Previously, on the 26th, leader Lee Hong Ki shared concert photos with a message saying, "Thank you so much. I gained a lot of strength from a close friend today. I'm glad we could finally say what we've been wanting to, face-to-face. We'll continue to meet our friends and talk to them directly." He added, "Meeting in person is better than writing because it allows things to be understood without misunderstanding, so thank you very much."
Lee Hong Ki also posted on the fan community Weverse, writing, "What if it wasn’t solicitation or an adult entertainment venue? Can you take responsibility for what you’re saying now?" However, he deleted the post after facing backlash for appearing to defend Choi Min Hwan.
Meanwhile, on the 24th, Choi Min Hwan became embroiled in allegations of solicitation after his ex-wife Yulhee disclosed their divorce reasons. Yulhee released an audio recording in which Choi Min Hwan could be heard saying, “There really aren’t any girls in [Gangnam, Seoul] today. Really none anywhere. Guess there aren’t any in other places, either?” and “I really want to have fun.” Following this, Choi Min Hwan halted all media activities, including appearances on ongoing broadcasts.
