Joo Hyun-young recently opened up about her ideal type and personal lifestyle habits in a video posted on Vogue Korea's YouTube channel on September 4th. The video, titled "What Happens When You Watch Too Many YouTube Shorts? (A Real Experience by Joo Hyun-young)," gave fans a glimpse into her daily life and preferences.

During the video, Joo Hyun-young discussed her choice of smartphone, explaining, "There have been times when call recording was absolutely necessary, and this phone was very helpful. One of my ideal types is a man who uses this phone model. I like that it suggests he values functionality."

She also revealed her current phone wallpaper, which features a cute drawing of a cat. "I really love my current wallpaper. The cat is drawn at the edge, and it’s so adorable that I made it my home screen background as well. Fans even made stickers of my pet cat, and I’ve stuck them on the back of my phone," she proudly shared.

Joo Hyun-young went on to talk about the apps she uses most frequently. "I have a lot of notifications, like 215 from YouTube. It might be frustrating for people who are good at organizing," she joked. "I mostly use YouTube Music and a messaging app. I also use the 'SBS Gorilla' radio app since I’m a DJ, and I often forget what I’ve said during live shows, so I use it to monitor myself."

She also mentioned her frequent use of delivery apps and her recent purchase of a statue of Jesus. "I recently bought a statue of Jesus. I’m originally a Christian and I like to have sacred objects around, such as Buddha statues or crosses, but I realized I didn’t have a statue of Jesus and thought he might feel left out," she explained.

Joo Hyun-young offered some practical advice for those living alone, recommending a silicone microwave steamer. "I recommend this. You can put napa cabbage, bean sprouts, enoki mushrooms, and smoked duck or beef brisket in it, then microwave it for 7 minutes, and your meal is ready. It’s really convenient," she said.

She also shared some life hacks, advising, "It might seem basic, but make sure to set up automatic payments for your rent. I used to forget and pay late. Also, cleaning your drains regularly is important."

When it comes to skincare, Joo Hyun-young revealed her routine, "I do visit the dermatologist occasionally, especially the day before an important event. At home, I frequently use sheet masks, both in the morning and before bed, and I also use home care devices for self-treatment."
