BLACKPINK's Lisa had been nominated as a Solo Artist in the "Best Kpop" category with her viral hit "ROCKSTAR" competing against BTS's Jungkook, NCT DREAM, NewJeans, Stray Kids and TxT.
However, after several tense minutes, Lisa was finally named the winner of the "Best K-Pop" Award at the 2024 MTV VMAs, making the internet explode with multiple fans around the world expressing their joy and pride towards the Thai superstar.
