On the morning of March 31, a production press conference for the Netflix series 'Karma' was held at the JW Marriott Dongdaemun in Seoul.
In attendance were actors Park Hae Soo, Shin Min Ah, Lee Hee Joon, Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Kwang Soo, Gong Seung Yeon, and director Lee Il Hyung.

'Karma' is a crime thriller that follows six individuals entangled in an inescapable web of fate, no matter how desperately they try to escape. The series marks the first drama project by director Lee Il Hyung, who previously received acclaim for his direction in the 2016 film A Violent Prosecutor, noted for its strong execution of the genre.

Shin Min Ah shared, “When I first read the script, it felt fresh. The protagonist’s name was unique, and I became so immersed in the world of the story that I forgot I was reading the role being offered to me.” She continued, “I was so curious about the twists and what happened next that I decided in my heart to take part even before the story had fully begun.”
She added, “The character I portray is a surgeon who has experienced deep trauma. She lives with the pain to the point where she can’t sleep. I tried to express the emotional weight of that trauma in depth, and I had many conversations with the director to explore it.”
'Karma' will be available for streaming on Netflix starting April 4.
