Actress Song Hye Kyo recently opened up about her friendship with fellow actress and singer Suzy.

On August 27, the YouTube channel ‘Elle Korea’ released a video titled “Song Hye Kyo. No further explanation needed.” In the video, Song Hye Kyo shared updates about her life, mentioning that she has been resting after finishing a film shoot. “I’m spending enjoyable time with friends,” she said. “When I’m working on a project, I hardly get to see my friends, but right now, I’m taking time for myself with nothing major to worry about.”

She added, “I’m someone who absolutely needs time alone. After spending time with others, I need my own space. During my alone time, I watch movies, listen to music, clean my house, and walk my dog, fully enjoying my personal time.”

Song Hye Kyo also mentioned her growing friendship with Suzy: “We’ve recently become closer. After the Blue Dragon Series Awards handprinting event, we spent time together at my house. We also met after the awards ceremony and chatted before parting ways.”

In the video, Song Hye Kyo was asked if there were moments when she thought she looked truly beautiful. She candidly responded, “Yes, there are times when I think I look pretty, especially during overseas events or photoshoots like today when I get styled and made up in new ways.”

She also addressed the so-called “vampire rumors” about her youthful appearance: “Aging naturally is important, but since my face is often in the public eye, I’m doing my best to take care of it and age as gracefully as possible.”

Song Hye Kyo shared what she would say to her younger self at the beginning of her career: “You didn’t know much when you started, but you’ve worked really hard and come this far. I’d tell myself, ‘You did well.’”

As for what she would say to herself 20 years from now, she added, “If I’m still working, I might say, ‘You’re still at it?’ I’d want to tell myself, ‘You’ve worked so hard, now it’s time to rest.’”
