According to media outlet reports on August 16 KST, actress Kim Hye Yoon has been offered a role in the new drama 'Starting Today, I'm Human' (literal translation).
If cast, Kim Hye Yoon will take on the role of a rather odd-natured gumiho (a nine-tailed fox spirit) named Eun Ho, who enjoys all the perks of living on earth as an immortal spirit with eternal youth, but none of the responsibilities. It's said that Kim Hye Yoon is positively considering the role while working out specific details.
Previously, the drama cast actor Park Solomon (Romon) as its male lead Kang Si Yeol, a professional soccer player with a strong case of narcissism. If Kim Hye Yoon is cast opposite Park Solomon (183 cm) in the new drama, she'll once again star opposite a "telephone pole" actor following her past works with Rowoon (192 cm) and Byun Woo Seok (190 cm).
'Starting Today, I'm Human' will be directed by Kim Jung Kwon of tvN's 'Maestra' and scripted by Park Chan Young and Jo Ah Young of MBN's 'Best Chicken'.
