Lizzy has denied rumors of plastic surgery.

Recently, the former After School member posted a commemorative birthday selfie on her personal Instagram with the caption, “Birthday together with my family 👀🖤.” The photo caught attention because her face appeared significantly different from before. Some netizens speculated she had plastic surgery done due to her larger eyes, the raised corners of her mouth, and sharper jawline.

While most followers commented happily and with celebratory messages, a few drew similar conclusions and left comments like, "Noona, I miss your old face," "Oh my, this is the Lizzy that was so fresh and pretty, right?," and "You were able to become a celebrity because of how beautiful you are. You don't need to do anything about it anymore. You're pretty enough!"

Such speculation led Lizzy to since directly deny the plastic surgery rumors. During a live broadcast on August 4 KST, she clarified that it was a filter, saying, "It’s an app! I didn't shave my jaw. People are saying I did something to my face, but that’s not true. There's no need to worry."

Meanwhile, Lizzy celebrated her 32nd birthday on July 31.
