According to the Korea Brand Reputation Research Institute, girl group aespa is the #1 K-Pop idol group in terms of brand value for the month of August.
In order to determine the brand reputation index scores of K-Pop idol groups, the Institute analyzed big data in areas including consumer participation, media activity, communication, and community activity from July 15 through August 15.
Based on the analysis results, aespa earned a brand reputation index score of 5,112,782, topping the rankings at #1 for August. In 2nd place, Seventeen earned a score of 3,928,255, while IVE followed closely behind in 3rd place with a score of 3,807,785.
Here are the top 30 K-Pop idol groups in terms of brand reputation for August, in order: aespa, Seventeen, IVE, Red Velvet, tripleS, Stray Kids, TWICE, BLACKPINK, NCT, SHINee, ENHYPEN, BTS, LE SSERAFIM, TWS, Girls' Generation, KISS OF LIFE, The Boyz, (G)I-DLE, ILLIT, RIIZE, INFINITE, NMIXX, EXO, BTOB, Highlight, Super Junior, ZEROBASEONE, Oh My Girl, Apink, and MONSTA X.
Meanwhile, girl group NewJeans failed to enter the top 30 rankings reputation rankings for the third consecutive month, after ranking #29 in May of this year. For the month of August, the group's brand reputation index score was 703,133, putting them at #46.
