Interpreter Lee Yoon Jin shed tears.
On July 16 KST, the TV CHOSUN program 'Now Alone' featured Lee Yoon Jin, who opened up about her feelings after her divorce with Lee Bum Soo.
Lee Yoon Jin shared, "I lived in Jakarta, Indonesia, for a long time following my parents. I wanted to go to Korea, which I saw on TV. So I decided to attend college in Korea and started my first job as an announcer with the goal of becoming someone who appeared on TV."
She continued, "I happened to become Rain's English teacher and worked in the entertainment industry in English-related roles. One day, through a friend's introduction, I became the English teacher of my ex-husband, which eventually led to our marriage."
Lee Yoon Jin, tearing up, confessed, "There came a time when I couldn't envision our future together. There must have been shortcomings I saw in my partner and vice versa. If there had been just one thing left that could keep us together..."
Regarding her son Da Eul, whom she parted ways with during the divorce, she expressed, "I always miss him at random moments. There are things beyond human control, so even if I cry and feel heartbroken every day, nothing will change in the current situation."
Lee Yoon Jin is currently living in Bali with her daughter So Eul. She said, "When I told my daughter that I felt I had become so small, So Eul replied, 'Mom, you have done so many things while raising us well, and even here, you are supporting me wonderfully. Being a mom is such an incredible job.' Hearing that made me feel very grateful," and she shed tears.
She added, "I resolved to live better and become stronger. As the head of the family and the guardian, I felt a significant pressure to protect our home. Bali offers a broad understanding of each other. It's a healing place where I can shake off the difficult experiences I've had. I wanted to take on new challenges in my 40s and see a new side of myself in Bali," explaining her reason for relocating.
