On the 27th, Lee Seung Gi held his 20th-anniversary fan meeting ‘7300+’ at Ewha Womans University Samsung Hall in Seoul, with sessions at 2 PM and 6 PM. The event was a special occasion for him to reconnect with fans who have shared the past 20 years with him.
Dressed in jeans, a white belt, a black shirt, and a white jacket, Lee Seung Gi recreated his debut stage look from 20 years ago and made his entrance by singing the song that made him famous, 'Because You're My Woman,' delighting fans with this nostalgic touch.
After the first song, Lee Seung Gi said, "Celebrating the 20th anniversary and moving to a new company, I wanted an opportunity to meet you all, so I prepared this fan meeting."
During the Q&A session, Lee Seung Gi answered intimate and light-hearted questions from fans, creating a closer connection with them. When asked for some 'TMI' about his new album, he revealed, "I asked senior Yoon Jong-shin to write a song for me," raising expectations for his new music.
He expressed his gratitude, saying, "Even if it’s not the 20th anniversary, I am thankful to the fans who have been with me. I am so happy to meet you face to face and reminisce about the past 20 years.
This year, I will focus on making a great album and gradually prepare for a fantastic concert as a singer."
Towards the end of the fan meeting, fans surprised Lee Seung Gi with a video of them singing 'All the Time We Spent Together,' a support video, and a cake event.
Lee Seung Gi said, "I thought I was the only one preparing surprises, but thank you for always caring. I will continue to work hard. Thank you."
Receiving this unexpected gift from his fans, Lee Seung Gi concluded the fan meeting with performances of 'Losing my mind,' 'Let's go on a vacation', 'Smile Boy,' and the encore song 'All the Time We Spend Together.'
The fan meeting was attended by fans from various backgrounds and nationalities, including those from Geoje Island, Italy, Japan, mother-daughter pairs, and couples, all celebrating Lee Seung Gi's 20th debut anniversary.
