French Canadian-Korean TV personality Julien Kang revealed his side of the story when he was arrested for public indecency ten years ago.
Julien Kang appeared as a special guest on the latest episode of the YouTube show 'XYOB' along with Celebrity Chef Austin Kang. At the beginning of the show, Julien Kang took out some champagne and shared, "I brought the Champagne 'Guy De Forez.' It's what I drank at my wedding."
When Brian Joo asked, "Is this alcoholic or nonalcoholic?" Julien Kang responded, "Of course it's alcoholic." Park Joon Hyung then chimed in, "He (Julien Kang) drinks a lot," to which Julien Kang refuted, "No, I don't drink. After meeting my wife, I barely drink anymore."
When Julien Kang claimed that he doesn't drink anymore, Park Joon Hyung became skeptical and brought up a past incident when Julien Kang was arrested in front of a convenience store ten years ago. Park Joon Hyung stated, "Don't lie. You were found naked in front of the convenience store while drunk!"
Julien Kang refuted, "That was only once," and continued to explain himself. When Brian pointed out, "Why are you dressed like Tarzan?" Julien Kang joked, "I think I can dress like that since I have a good body."
Austin Kang added, "I heard you cleaned the convenience store at that time," and Brian responded with the question, "Do you have a habit of cleaning when drunk?" At that moment, Park Joon Hyung joked, "You two should do a program (about cleaning)," making everyone laugh (Editor's note: Brian Joo is known for his love of cleaning).
Previously, on September 18, 2014, Julien Kang was arrested in broad daylight for wandering the streets in his underwear. He testified that he couldn’t refuse the drinks offered by his acquaintances and ended up getting heavily intoxicated, leading to his behavior. The police drug tested him and he also tested negative for drugs.
Additionally, CCTV footage from the scene showed him in his underwear, neatly arranging chairs at an outdoor table of a convenience store and cleaning up trash from nearby shops and the street, which surprised many.
