The group ATEEZ is set to launch their 2024 North American tour.
On July 14, ATEEZ will began the North American leg of their 2024 world tour "TOWARDS THE LIGHT: WILL TO POWER" at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, USA.
This North American tour is an extension of their 2024 world tour "TOWARDS THE LIGHT: WILL TO POWER," which started in Seoul last January. The tour will span 13 performances across 10 cities, beginning in Tacoma on the 14th, followed by Oakland on the 17th, Los Angeles on the 20th and 21st, Phoenix on the 25th, Arlington on the 28th, Duluth on the 30th and 31st, New York on August 3rd, Washington D.C. on the 6th, Toronto on the 8th, and ending in Rosemont on the 10th and 11th.
Previously, ATEEZ received an explosive response to the pre-sale of their North American tour tickets, prompting the addition of extra shows in Duluth and Rosemont. They also added another show in Los Angeles, demonstrating the global fans' immense support for their world tour.
Through this tour, ATEEZ is solidifying their status as "stadium artists." The BMO Stadium in Los Angeles will host two of their performances, while New York's Citi Field, a venue famous for hosting global musicians like Paul McCartney, Beyonce, and Lady Gaga, will also feature ATEEZ. Additionally, ATEEZ will be the first K-pop boy group to perform at the Globe Life Field in Arlington, a large stadium with a capacity of over 40,000.
Recently, ATEEZ made headlines as their 10th mini-album "GOLDEN HOUR: Part.1" remained on the U.S. Billboard 200 for five consecutive weeks, climbing 18 spots in the latest chart.
The album was also selected by Billboard as one of "The 20 Best K-Pop Albums of 2024 (So Far)," with the track "WORK" highlighted as one of the most striking singles.
Billboard praised the album, noting that its tracks "take listeners on a musical journey around the world through various emotions."
In April, ATEEZ became the first K-pop boy group to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. In June, they headlined the MAWAZINE Festival, becoming the first K-pop artists to do so, showcasing their exceptional performance skills with an impressive setlist and stage production.
After kicking off their North American tour in Tacoma, ATEEZ will continue with a performance at the Oakland Arena on the 17th.
