Group Stray Kids received their second gold certification from the French National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP) with their mini album '樂-STAR' (Rock Star).
On June 6, the French Record Association announced on its official website that Stray Kids' mini album '樂-STAR', released in November 2023, achieved gold certification by recording album sales of more than 50,000 units. The SNEP, established in 1922, awards certification based on album and single sales.
With this, Stray Kids achieved their second gold certification from the SNEP following their 3rd full-length album '★★★★★ (5-STAR)'. In the 'Top 200 Albums of 2023' chart announced by the SNEP in January this year, ★★★★★ (5-STAR) ranked 52nd and '樂-STAR' ranked 135th, the highest ranking among K-pop artists. By adding achievements, he showed off his mainstream presence.
Previously, in July 2023, Stray Kids was the first K-pop artist to headline the local large-scale music festival 'Lollapalooza Paris', and in January 2024, they held the first French charity concert in K-pop boy group history, 'Operation Yellow Coins Charity Event'.
