The 'virtual idol group' PLAVE has successfully held their fan concert.
On the 13th and 14th at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, PLAVE's first fan concert 'Hello, Asterum!' was held. The concert sold out all seats during pre-sales with intense interest, evidenced by the 70,000 concurrent online visitors at ticket opening.
The second day's performance was also streamed online, allowing real-time interaction with fans both online and offline. The scene where PLAVE members took a commemorative photo with the audience showcased the members and audience together in the video, impressing the crowd with excellent video technology.
At the concert, PLAVE opened with their debut song 'Wait for you' and greeted the audience who filled the seats. On the following day, they addressed the online audience watching through 'Weverse Live', promising to give their best to convey the live experience.
PLAVE performed live stages of songs that are not commonly performed live, including 'I Just Love Ya', 'Why?', and 'Virtual Idol' from their mini albums. Notably, the stage set against the backdrop of a pool during day and night created a refreshing atmosphere and drew cheers from the fans.
The concert featured a variety of performances including Hamin's dynamic 'The Search' Taekwondo stage, the emotional narration of 'The Sixth Summer' reminiscing about past days by PLAVE members, and Noah's solo stage 'Drowning'. Additionally, the second mini-album's songs 'Watch Me Woo!' and Yejun's solo piano performance 'On The Ground' heated up the venue. The songs 'From' and 'Dear.PLLI', conveying heartfelt messages to each other and their fans, were performed consecutively.
PLAVE expressed their gratitude, "We used sparkling star lights for the 'From' and 'Dear.PLLI' stages. We hope that the star of PLAVE you found becomes a strength every time the dark night comes. Thank you and love you all for being with us at PLAVE's first solo performance today."
They concluded the main concert with 'WAY 4 LUV', a title song from their second mini-album embodying their love for fans.
After the concert, responding to the audience's encore requests, PLAVE returned to the stage to perform 'Merry PLLIstmas'. Capturing the memory of their first solo concert with a commemorative photo, PLAVE shared, "This moment of PLAVE's concert feels like a page in our history. Thank you for being with us at this moment. We will be a PLAVE that can give back as much love as we have received."
For the final encore, PLAVE performed 'Our Movie' and 'Pixel World', sending off the audience. The fans' surprise slogan event, along with ending credits, heartfelt handwritten letters from the members, and a narration, added to the emotional impact.
