An official from Galaxy Corporation, representing G-Dragon, confirmed on April 3 KST that the renowned artist is gearing up for a comeback in the latter part of this year. Plans for global endeavors, including ventures in Japan, are also in the works.
Earlier reports hinted at G-Dragon's upcoming concert and fan meeting in Japan, sparking anticipation among fans. Galaxy Corporation's establishment of a Japanese branch last September further underscores their dedication to facilitating G-Dragon's activities in the region, although it wasn't specifically initiated for this purpose.
"The Japanese branch predates G-Dragon's contract with us, but we're committed to supporting his endeavors there," a Galaxy Corporation official explained. "While details regarding Japanese concerts and fan meetings are yet to be finalized, they are part of our broader global strategy."
G-Dragon, a prominent figure since his debut with Big Bang under YG Entertainment in 2006, parted ways with the agency last December after 17 years, subsequently signing an exclusive deal with Galaxy Corporation.
This is where he gives them payback for all their support, isn't it? Glad to see he's going global, I hope he moves all his operations overseas so he'll be safe, there's going to be some sore losers in South Korea, who knows what they'll try next?
